A counter!

jon's christmas
wish list 2005

For everyone's convenience, I am putting what I want for Christmas in this convenient easy-to-read list. Notice that the list is not only easy to read, but is also interactive! I've provided links to most items so you can buy them directly on-line or can be directed to a source that will supply the items to you. Merry Christmas... to me!

New Order - A Collection (DVD). New Order is my most favorite band that I've never seen live. I've come to the sad conclusion that I probably never will. This dvd will have to be the next best thing.
A bathrobe. I've had the same bathrobe for 15 years and it's beginning to fray horribly. The bathrobe I want is not at all like the one pictured. I'd like to have a dark one with some kind of pattern. I don't think I like the bulky terry cloth things. Just light cotton is probably best.

Converseone shoes. The style pictured here is one I actually designed on the Converse's converseone website. If you want to buy these for me, I can email you the exact specifications. I actually have a Converse profile saved that's emailable.

iriver H10 20GB Trance Red (mp3 player). I love the mp3 player I have now, but I got it just for snowboarding instead of for long vacations and the like. As a result, it doesn't hold nearly as many songs as I'd like it to. I could get an iPod, but I'd rather not deal with the horrendous iTunes that takes over my computer's audio systems like a powerful splinter cell. I'd also love to have a player that has an FM tuner. It'd also be nice if the FM tuner had a record function. An iPod has neither of those things. Ooooh oooh! My ideal player would also play in wmv format, the standard audio format of just about every pc in the world (a format iPods don't play). Yes, get me this thing, because iPods are for housewives and little girls.
Home Movies - Season 3 (DVD). This cult cartoon was a regular highlight of Adult Swim until a couple of years ago. I asked for season 1 last year, but didn't get it. I had to buy the first two seasons all by myself. I watched them all by myself too.
Star Wars Battlefront II (PS2). I just want to kill a lot of Ewoks.
New Playstation 2 controller. This will be my fourth one (if I get it). Stupid things are so flimsy.
The Klingon Dictionary. I'm out to prove that a guy can learn Klingon and still be great to have around.
Auto Repair For Dummies. I don't know anything about cars. It'd be nice to know if my mechanic is making up car parts.
Fargo Rock City: A Heavy Metal Odyssey in Rural North Dakota. I've read Klosterman's other two books and they were two (well, three (I read Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs twice)) of the most enjoyable reads in my life. I can only assume that his first book is at least almost as good.
